What exactly will change and where can I get fresh and up-to-date information?
First of all, we are talking about new clinical protocols. The Ministry of Health of Ukraine by decree No. 1422 allowed doctors to work according to international protocols for treatment and diagnosis.
In addition, primary care physicians – internists, pediatricians and family doctors – will now use the ICPC-2 (International Primary Care Classification) system in their work. It involves an integrated approach, in which the doctor encodes not only the diagnosis, but also the symptoms with which the patient applied. ICPC-2 contains about 1300 codes that describe the most common problems for patients.
